When did your love for polish begin?
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved nail polish. The girls in the neighborhood and I use to have nail polish/slumber parties. One of the girls got married a few years back and a couple days before the wedding we had another slumber/nail polish party. It was so much fun to see everyone again and do each others nails.
What made you decide to start your own polish line?
When I moved from Canada to the USA 6 years ago I got back into being a nail tech. When the shop was slow, I would play with polishes, mixing them together, adding glitter, just having fun with it.
I started researching how to make your own nail polish and the madness began. I ordered some fun finds online and the mixing and testing began. Roughly a year later I opened N3. I did have a Candle Shop on Etsy and closed it down to focus on N3.
What's the inspiration behind the colors you create?
Oh gosh, I get inspired from many, many things to create colors. I was fishing with hubby one day and I was using a neon green transparent worm that had glitter embedded in it. Thought, hmmmmmm.. that would be a fun polish. That's how Neon Rage jelly polish came to life.
How many polishes do you have in your stash?
Eeeek, about 300. I also have 4 tackle boxes filled with nail art stuff. Tackle boxes are great to organize all that fun stuff. :o) Yes, I'm a fishing fanatic. If I'm not doing N3, I'm throwing a line in the water.
