In the Studio: A Few More Irises

I found the rest of my set of photos of irises that I took in January. I shared the first set of photos – the ones taken against the black background – some time ago. Finally – here’s the rest of the set photographed against a white backdrop.

With this set – I started out photographing just one flower – then added a second to the arrangement.

As I looked at the flowers I loved the way the petals looked against the white background – so I tried a few shots that were a little more abstract than I usually create.

And then finally I just grouped all the irises together and filled the frame with petals
