In the City – Cool London Engagement Shoot

Just. Love. This.

Helen and Paul’s engagement shoot in London has me well and truly captivated. There’s a feeling that their photos almost freeze a moment in time – in more ways than one. And of course, they’re both absolutely gorgeous (forgive me Helen, you knew I’d say that! But you are!!!)

Photographer Marshal Gray fills his images with personality and style. He’s a cool guy – and his blog has become my latest major distraction! Walking around London with Helen and Paul, they created some fantastic photos and I think this shoot shows how much an engagement shoot can mean; as a way to mark your last months as boyfriend and girlfriend, and to have fun and make memories.

A favourite photo for me - I love Helen's smile!

I can’t wait to see Paul and Helen’s wedding at the end of the summer – I’m hoping it will be on Marshal Gray’s wedding photography blog. By the way, there are larger versions of these e-shoot photos on the blog here: Engagement Shoot – Paul & Helen

Thanks to Marshal / Gary (how cool, to have a stage name! – I want one but I can’t get a decent anagram out of Claire) for letting me show these images on the blog today.

And thanks to Helen for getting in touch too. Helen’s first email to me described Marshal as “a very enthusiastic, passionate photographer who we know will do a great job on the day. And I really want to shout about him! (To anyone who will listen!)”

I love a photographer who inspires such high praise from day one. And I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of Marshal Gray on English Wedding!
