Imran Khan to Retain NA-56 Seat of Rawalpindi

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has decided to retain NA-56 Rawalpindi seat, he clinched during the May 11 general elections.

A PTI spokesperson told media that cricketer-turned-politician will abandon the two seats of the National Assembly, NA-71 Mianwali and NA-1 Peshawar.

PTI chief had contested from four National Assembly seats and managed to secure three of them. He suffered defeat from NA-122 Lahore at the hands of PML-N candidate Ayaz Sadiq.

Media reports suggested that after winning three NA seats, the PTI chief was in limbo that which one he should abandon.
