Now I'm sure you all must know who Rati is, if not by the sound of her name than by the name of her blog IMBB!
Rati Tehri Singh, the co-founder of IMBB started this blog alongwith her husband Sanjeev Singh back in 2009 to share her love for cosmetics as there were not much blogs back then for the Indian community that means no review on Indian products which is what made her think to start her own blog where she could help girls like her looking for suggestions online (I still remember how her posts used to be back then, not that I used to read her blog then but read her first few posts when I discovered the archives tab
You can find product reviews, diy posts, outfit posts, skin care articles on IMBB. For product review, they have almost everything covered, from latest launch to even products available outside India, you name it, they have it!
Writers provide a detailed review along with minimum 3 pictures of the product being reviewed making it easier for us to plan whether or not to purchase the product (though I wish that all pics were of good quality and not clicked randomly to give us a better picture of the scene). While I feel many writers put in a lot of effort to make their pics interesting but some just clicks the pics randomly to where they are, this is the only thing I think IMBB needs to work on).
Rati is really a big inspiration for all makeup enthusiast, those with a new blog or planning to start a beauty blog have been encouraged from Rati at some point or the other. Her fashion sense, makeup sense and to where she has reached by blogging is really commendable and this is what inspires every new blogger or the other to start their own beauty blog. I feel her makeup skills have gone really high, she experiments a lot with makeup and has really gone to that bold level where re-creating her looks seem a lil tough for girls new to makeup but her step by step tutorial makes it easy to re-create them.
There's also a fashion and travel blog run by her by the name Faux Pas which showcase her outfits, travel destinations where both Rati and Sanjeev travel all around the world and shoot some of the best pics of the location and of her outfits. The pics feel au so natural and lively that you feel as if you've also been travelling with them and if not then they definitely inspire to travel to a certain place like I have so many places in mind where I would like to travel which I have noted down from their trips.
IMBB's beauty journey is an inspiration for us which never fails to impress us with their articles on beauty and makeup :)
