You were born to be a king
Somebody of great renown
Had your life mapped out ahead
Only you could let Him down
Trouble was we had a foe
Didn't want this chosen life
Did his best to change our path
Causing doubt, unrest and strife.
What we were was now not so
Wandered from our pasture green
Being blasted by the world
Things we went through, things we've seen
satan loves to bring us down
Fills us full of doubt and shame
It's a battle, that's for sure
Mental torture is his game.
Jesus is The King of Kings
Won the war upon the cross
He brings light into the dark
Over satan He's the boss
Relationship with Him is key
Include Him in your every whim
Together you can move in power
But only if you stick with Him.
