You know when you just crave a certain kind of music and only certain artists carry off the kind of tune you want to hear? Yea that was how I felt these last few days. I absolutely love John Mayer. I may not have started out loving him but Paradise Valley (the latest album) just does it for me. It's this haunting music with folk aspects and it makes you feel all kinds of emotion at once.
This outfit is one that I love for the updated "business" casual look to it. With the leggings, it is definitely on the WAY more casual side of things, but by adding the lightweight summer cardigan and the black Target blouse, the outfit looks casual office chic. To portray that it's a summer look, the pop of color the Target bag adds works perfectly. I love the contrast of a bright pink on neutral colors and black tones. I picked up the lightweight Jones New York cardigan at TJ Maxx a few days ago. I've been searching for this exact style of cardigan for three years and had yet to find it until I had a bit of luck on Sunday. The reason being that I had a cardigan that was similar my freshman year of college and I absolutely loved it, but sadly it outwore its wear and I had to pass it along. The cardigan has the perfect drape with the angled panels in the front which creates the perfect silhouette for the wearer. xoBCC
