I planned on 1.6 slow, fun, relaxing miles.
We got inspired and did 2.5! Mhmm y’all!
It was perfect weather, overcast and a little breezy. The run was literally easy and breezy.
Once I got home I had enough time to read a few of my favorite blogs and take a shower before hunger completely took over my life!
Dinner
I intended to make veggies and protein but my stomach screamed CARBS so I went all out.
EVOO, Garlic and Parm Pasta
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup dry pasta
- 2 cups steamed broccoli
- 1/8 cup parm
- 3 meatless meatballs
- garlic powder
- Paula Dean’s House Seasoning
- cracked black pepper
Directions
make the pasta as directed and steam the broccoli
drain the pasta and mix everything together, save the parm for last so it doesn’t get too melty and stringy.
I was really really hungry. I scarfed the entire bowl!

Fitness
Dorothy has really inspired me. She asked me if I wanted to jog with her a few times a week and she’s gotten me back into running and getting fit.
She recently lost about 8 pounds from our weekly jogging sessions and making healthy choices when it comes to food. She’s really helped me get back on healthy eating track.
