Been scanning the web for my local surf spots , The witterings, Bracklesham and Boscombe, but nothing really happening. So I googled “pressure charts uk” and went to this website : http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/surface-pressure/#?tab=surfacePressureColour&fcTime=1367582400
Have a look at the picture. See the big “H” just off the coast of France? That stands for High pressure. Good for the weather, bad for surfers.
