Seriously! I’m taking over the world, one vintage globe at a time. Please put your pinky up to your lips and insert a maniacal laugh here.
Collecting vintage globes is a very easy collection to get into. You can find them pretty easily at thrift stores and garage sales.
They are so easy to display as well. Especially since they come in so many different colors. They coordinate with any decor.
There is no better way to travel the world than with a spin of a globe. Wouldn’t you love to travel to exotic places like Burma? And the United Soviet Socialist Republic? Wait…. what?!
Don’t you remember when your were a young student, putting your finger on one side of the globe and drawing an imaginary line through the globe to find out what is on the other side of the world. So that just in case you ever decided to dig a hole all the way through the earth you would know your location when you popped out of the ground on the other side. Better bring a boat because most likely you will find yourself in the ocean!
