I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas Holiday Home Tour-Part II Office
Welcome back for Part II of my Holiday Home Tour. If you missed yesterday's post you an check out my front porch and entry decked out for Christmas HERE. Today we are moving into my office. I've kept the snowy theme going and because it's my office I get to add in even more pink.
I'm still loving my barnwood tv armoire that I converted into storage. The shelves give me more space to display some of my favorite vintage finds. To lighten it up for Christmas, I added some LED string lights.
I also added more flocked garland on top of the armoire. And I can't wait for my Paperwhites to bloom. I planted them a few weeks ago hoping they would bloom just in time for Christmas but they have been growing so fast I think they'll be blooming by next week.
Don't you love driving by your neighbors homes during the Holiday Season and seeing their sparkly tree in the front window? Since our main tree is in the back of the house I wanted to add a little sparkle to the front of our home. Plus, who could resist this little flocked tree. I went all out with pink and soft gold ornaments on this one.
Before I started decorating for Christmas, I had a vase of dried hydrangeas from my garden sitting on my desk. I decided to use those as a tree topper and just gently pushed the stems into the tree. Some glittery picks added texture and some extra shine.
I think it's always nice to have little something under the tree even before Santa arrives with gifts. I added a pretty step stool that I painted to replicate a vintage stool. I did a tutorial on that project HERE.
A lantern and a bowl of extra ornaments (the unbreakable kind since my 2 year old refers to them as balls) and a sweet little vase of flowers ties it all together.
In the other corner I have another pink poinsettia and a vintage chair. Now that I've painted everything else white, I'm thinking of painting that chair. Maybe a soft gray? What do you think?
This might be one of my favorite views in my office. The reflection in this mirror makes me happy every time I see it. (And I'm not talking about my own reflection, ha!) This mirror reflects the vintage chandelier in my office and my kitchen at the same time.
I made a simple and sweet swag with more preserved eucalyptus, some faux lambs ear and more pink ribbon.
Because this room doesn't get much sun until late afternoon the mirror also helps reflect light from the back of the house.
Hope you enjoyed my White Christmas Holiday Home Tour office style. I'm looking forward to bringing you more later this week, including my family room and kitchen. In the meantime, I'm busy posting preview pics on Instagram and Facebook. I'd love for you to come on over and say hi!
