I Love You Always Forever by Donna Lewis.

I remember when this song played on the radio all the time. I’m guessing it was Donna’s only successful single because you don’t hear anything from her anymore. The inspiration behind it was a novel by H.E. Bates called, Love for Lydia.

I Love You Always Forever was released as a single in May of 1996 from her debut album, Now in a Minute. It went to #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 for nine weeks that summer. It was also #1 on Hot 100 Airplay for twelve weeks becoming one of the most played songs of the 1990′s.

Above is a live performance which is a little different than the original. To hear the original track, click HERE.
