I Got Buck at Lunch!

What exactly is getting ‘buck’?

I don’t know… there’s that song (that I LOVE) ‘Let’s Get Buck In ‘Here’.

When I read the lyrics to that song I think it means get CRAZY! I definitely got crazy at lunch today… crazy healthy.

Call it, BUCK HEALTHY!

Since May I’ve been buck healthy trying to get my intestinal issues under control. There have been many slip ups and lots of starbursts have been consumed but other than that I’ve been a healthy beast. Here’s what I’ve realized:

Eating low carb is my life saver.

Here’s what I had for lunch:

A chicken salad with chicken breast, tomato, cucumber, a little bacon, avocado and some balsamic vinaigrette.

Please don’t think I’m all Atkins now because I’m not. I refuse to count anything when it comes to food unless it’s skittles to make sure I get more than everyone else.

;-)
And I’m not looking at a list of foods I can’t eat. I just don’t work that way.

But this type of eating is what works for me and keeps my c-diff on lock down!

It’s really not that bad… especially once I got my body all detoxed off sugar. It all makes so much sense really. C-Diff is a bacteria and sugar feeds bacteria. Hence eating lots of refined sugars would make my bacterial imbalance more inflamed.

I love it when life makes sense.
