Look of the Day – Breaking Bad is the inspiration for today’s OOTD! This thingy was on my wishlist and on to the shopping cart the moment my OASAP credits were renewed. Hooray! I make hasty decisions most of the time, I did not realize it was a thick oversized fleece sweater big enough to be a dress (or a sack?). I look like a kid here, don’t I? Lol!
“No, you clearly don’t know who you’re talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger, Skyler. I AM the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!” – Walter White
Heisenberg hoodie, OASAP. Sunglasses, Cotton On. Sneaker wedges, Fancy Feet. Watch, Fossil.
Summer may have started early but clearly, I’m not done with sweaters yet. I even went too far by wearing this fleece hoodie under a sweltering 2PM sun! Ahh, the things we do for the sake of blogging!
I don’t know what it is but everytime I watch a certain series, I become too attached to the story. When the series or the season ends, a grieving mode starts and all I do is ask myself, what am I going to do now? That’s exactly the case with Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Scandal, and Suits.
I watched Breaking Bad series last year. It tickled my fancy since I’m a chemist-wannabe. We got hooked (consider it a severe case) that we were able to finish 5 seasons in a week. Crazy! It was a bittersweet feeling as the last episode pushed to an end. Heisenberg’s meth empire was the bomb! Too good to be true but still it was good business. Some people would scoff at the idea of anything illegal or immoral but I’m telling you, it pays to have an open mind. A bit out of topic but here’s a little story, I remember my Ethics class when the professor would ask us to write our opinion on certain issues. I was pro-choice, pro-divorce, pro-euthanasia, pro-death penalty even. Not sure if I deliberately do it but I find myself veering away from what others would obviously go for. I assume they chose it because they think it’s the right answer or more importantly because they believe in it. Others would even persuade me to change my answer but I wouldn’t. Why would I? There’s no right or wrong and I’m entitled to my own opinion. We all are, actually.
Soooo… Back to the OOTD, shall we?
You can just imagine how giddy I got when I saw a BrBa-inspired apparel. I’ve seen Heisenberg sweaters and shirts here and there but I’m not the type who impulsively buys online. I’m not the most patient person around to wait for packages! Apart from that, paying a ridiculous amount of tax is insane. I’d prefer drooling over the items I won’t buy than seeing my hard-earned money go down the BIR drain and into the pockets of crocs (aka EPALiticians)!
P.S. Allow me to enjoy this rather athletic(?) look today.
Black and neutral. This is the 28th look on Candy Mag’s Days of Style.
Behold! They’re the only sneaker wedges I own. I literally jogged in this! Dont judge, I had no rubber shoes back then!
Stay wicked!
