Despite of all frenetic efforts from the government, Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran’s long match has begun its journey towards Islamabad.
While speaking to media before departing for the march, TMQ chief Dr Tahirul Qadri termed it as ‘democracy march’ saying “it is the march against corrupt rulers, it is the march against injustice, it is the march against evil forces, it is a march against prosecution of weak and poor people.
Tahir-ul-Qadri accused that TMQ workers in different cities are being harassed by the Punjab government and the buses hired for the march are being seized.
“It is a march to topple Yazeedi Empire, I declare the march as a Hussaini march,” he said, adding the police and other governmental organizations are threatening the transporters.
Referring to Quetta bloodshed, Qadri demanded the removal of the Balochistan government for its inability to protect lives of innocent people.
The march was originally scheduled to start at 9:00 Am but after the delay of several hours, started after Zuhar prayer
On the other hand, Punjab law minister Rana Sanullah regarded the accusations of TMQ leader false and baseless saying provincial government is not hurdling in way of long march.
He said TMQ was leveling allegations after it had failed to in gathering much people for the long march.
