Back in September, HTC announced the 5.5” Desire 820, and it seems that the company already has a smaller version of the handset in the works. The HTC Desire 820 Mini appeared briefly on HTC’s website in China, and before it got removed, we managed to take a look at its specs.

The smaller Desire 820 will arrive with a 5” HD display, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The Desire 820 Mini will have 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, and two cameras – an 8-megapixel rear one, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. Other specs include Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC’s Sense UI on top, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE.

When the Desire 820 Mini popped up on HTC’s website, it was listed with a price of 1399 yuan, which is roughly $228. We are yet to learn the exact release and pricing details, but we will let you know as soon as we get more info.
