Mini A-line skirts were a rage last year and they continue to be a sizzling trend this summer as well. It is flattering on every body shape, and can be effortlessly transitioned from desk to dinner and everywhere in between.
A structured skirt, especially this one ( sold out ) from H&M has enjoyed a fair share of popularity on my blog. I have worn it casually with sneakers (here), partied in it with an open-back top (here) and today, I am taking it to work.

- Wearing an a-line mini skirt has gotten so much easier. With the plethora of options, finding the right pair for oneself, has become a plaything. Look for one that hits right about your mid thigh: this inseam flatters everyone. Anything longer would give a whole new persona to a mini skirt, which might not be as appealing.
- Since the waist fits closer to one's body, it defines the narrowest part. This makes it all the more easier to pair it with all kind of tops. Opt for a t-shirt, button-down, cropped or even a bodysuit, options are ceaseless.
- Wearing them with your favorite heels will elongate your legs further.
- If you are ever in doubt, wear the skirt with a jacket. The jacket takes up an a-line mini skirt up a notch and you feel and look more put-together.
