This look is my second of the three outfit series, featuring a classic white button down. A button down in either black or white is a closet staple and every girl should own one or preferably both. I own a wide variety of black button downs, ranging from silk to cotton to linen, but white is limited. But after this series, I realized 'how underrated a white button down is. '
It was so easy to incorporate a white button down in my outfits: first here yesterday and now here today. An easy way to give a facelift to any plain shirt is to couple it with something fun and snazzy. This skirt definitely comes in handy in taking the white blouse up a notch. Since the skirt was a jolt of drama, I kept the accessories minimum, letting the top and skirt take center stage. Needless to say "it was cold and hence the blue jacket!! "
I could totally see myself wearing this look to office - would swap the fancy skirt with a slightly subtle pencil skirt or even a midi skirt for the more conservative work environment. If not to the office, a lunch date with girlfriends or even a weekend party would be a few other hang out spots for wearing this look. What say ????
