How To Stack Your Bracelets Like A Pro

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1

I was never the girl who would wear a lot of jewelry. I always went the minimalistic route and adhered to wearing more precious jewelry than fashion jewelry. But over the years as I grew as a blogger, I started developing a fondness for fashion jewelry. Initially it was more forced, cuz I felt obliged to feature the brands that would send me jewelry for gifts but later I just started loving them. I began to realize how something felt missing in my outfits and how a few pieces of jewelry could transform the look.

It's still a work-in-progress but I could write pages after pages on the art of wearing jewelry, but today we shall be focusing on something that I've never spoken about on the blog before- BRACELETS! I've been taking baby steps towards the art of layering your bracelets and have come a long way from pretty-outfits-plain-wrists and would like to share some of my tips so that you can master this art too.

MIX AND MATCH: The key to stacking your bracelets like a pro is to mix and match. There is no rule of thumb per se, just have fun and let your personal style show. When mixing metals mix multiple colors like silver, gold, rose gold, copper and whatever you own. When mixing textures think leather, woven threads, charms, pearls,- just keep the size in different ranges to achieve that drama.

SIZING MATTERS: choose the size of the bracelets depending on how you'd like your bracelets to look and fit on your wrist. I like mine snug on my wrist and so I mix similar-sized pieces together. If you like your bracelets to dangle on your wrist, I would suggest keeping a mix of multiple sizes. Let the most dangliest piece sit closer to the slimmest part of your wrist and then layer up.

QUANTITY COUNT: there is no set rule for how many pieces you can stack together, just remember not to cover more than a third of your arm and not to go overboard. When mixing thin, dainty pieces, use as many as you are comfortable wearing. When stacking chunky pieces- I would suggest just three, may be four, as it tends to get heavy.

HAVE FUN: these are just some of my tips that I adhere to when stacking bracelets on my thin wrist, but you are more than welcome to create your very own arm candy. Have fun and let your creativity shine through and whenever you wear em give me a shoutout- I would love to see what you come up with.
