How to ROCK a MAXI SKIRT This Summer! [VLOG]

Happy Monday! Or better yet, HAPPY JULY! 
This weekend after dealing with a flooded basement and a massive heat wave I realized that I desperately need to GET AWAY! So I am planning a little family getaway ASAP.
I also did a bit of summer shopping last week and I ended up trying a whole new look for me — a maxi skirt. After consulting with fellow D.C. style maven Alison of Wardrobe Oxygen she said "heck yes!" you can wear a maxi skirt. 
So I listened and here is my new rockin' summer look — and as an added bonus, it's very patriotic too!
