I like to take fashion risks, on my own terms, and this time it is leopard on leopard. Might be a bit bold for some but you totally can wear it and look classy. Keep reading for my tips on how to wear leopard on leopard without looking trashy.
- choose complimenting colors - when going for the same print in two different colors, try sticking to two complimenting colors. For instance blue and green, red and pink, beige and black .
- add a neutral- break up the flow of the print with some neutral. In my case the plain silk blouse acts as the neutral.
- mix edgy with feminine pieces- I can totally see myself wearing a leopard print blouse with a pair of boyfriend jeans and finishing off with a pair of killer leopard booties. Totally classy with a dash of edgy.
- go for little accents - if two striking pieces in the same print is not your jam, then go for little accents like a leopard print cuff or even a printed scarf.
- make a leopard bag your best friend- a leopard-print clutch is the best bet to mix with other leopard pieces in your outfit. It will ease the flow of this print. This bag is definitely on my radar.
- keep your makeup minimal- when your outfit is this bold, you definitely want to steer clear of too loud makeup. Light smokey eyes is advised, but dark lips and dark eye shadows will be too much. Well, that is just my personal choice, there are some bad-ass women who can totally pull-off a heavy make up with an animal print overload.
