By Shivam Ralli @shivamralli167
Teen life. The toughest and of course the most moody part of ones life. One second one might be extremely jolly whereas the next second this could turn into depression/sadness/remorse. This is very unpredictable. Nothing can be guessed. It always a quest of feelings and emotions gushing in the glands and hearts of the  DNA graded organisms. Though this age has the worst effects, one good thing about this time of life is that the moments that could be experienced and cherished during this span is not forgettable and gives you memories forever.
“The young always have the same problem - how to rebel and conform at the same time. They have now solved this by defying their parents and copying one another.”― Quentin Crisp

Never Forget This!

Problems are like a subordinate of teenage and teenagers usually go hyper when they face them. So, here are a few easy and simple tips one could follow when they are in a problem to stay calm.
1.LISTEN TO MUSIC Just like it is said, music is ones best partner and for every mood we have a song. Music rejuvenates you and helps you calm your brain and also the punk of thoughts in your mind. Also, science has also proven that music helps to increase the learning capacity of brain by organising it- better to stay calm!
2.MUNCH OVER SOMETHING Chocolates, Chips, Coffee or whatsoever. Food always has a very deep impact over the human body. Who isn't a foodie?  In fact people who don't eat much also love hogging a special item. Usually it’s chocolate for all. So, food just isn't a hunger solution but also a stress remedy. It give the brain another activity to do to think and ponder upon rather than just thinking on the problem. Hope you guys found a new reason to get in the kitchen!
3.TALK ABOUT IT TO SOMEONE You know humans are social creatures. They feel safest when surrounded by people. So, spilling out your problems to someone you can entirely trust or depend on could be a real help. That person may not give you a solution for your problem but yes, he/she will be your strength. Once you let out everything you have to them, you feel a lot better. After all, as it is said, “Two heads are better than one.” It gives more solutions to a problem or just to talk on that makes a person feel better.
4. OPEN UP OLD MEMORIESOlden days are always said to be golden. They are not only the small and cute cherished moments but also one of those that teach us lessons, our very first lessons. Whenever we look at our old happy days, our mood automatically switches towards an optimistic side. We gain resilience. Maybe it may not be convincing right now while you read about it but if you practice it once, you would understand the power of the past.
5.  READ A BOOK Books are always called as best friends and they even deserve this tag. In a mode of depression if we just hold on a paperback and read it we obviously tend to forget about the problem. And at times this inspirational piece of paper can also give us ways to face the problem. Just as it is always said, a small book is always the largest platform to think.

A happy teen!

6. SCRIBBLE ONWeird isn't it? But it works. Whenever you are in a rage of angry just take a paper and a pen and scribble. Keep scribbling till the paper tears. This is a preferable violent way to get rid of angry kind of even promoting the opposite since it  neither turns out to be of no harm to anyone else and nor gets you in any trouble or guilt. But yes, one thing to be kept I'm mind, don't do it in front of anyone otherwise consequence may be as worse as getting admission in an asylum. ( Might happen so beware of that *kidding* )
 7. SLEEP OR GO FOR A WARM BATHRefreshing and rejuvenating. A sleep will help your brain to get stress free and give you better ways to tackle your issues. As it is said- 'in childhood bath was a stage for a concert and in teen age the same place is a stage to think over an issue of concern'. We all tend to get better ideas under the hot shower. So, its time to pull on a quilt or switch on the taps!    8. DO WHAT YOU LOVE.Either we love writing, singing, dancing, playing instruments, drawing or maybe watching the idiot box. Then what are we waiting for? As soon as you go depressed, do it, do the thing you love. Nothing could cure your stress better. The peace of mind attained at this move is divine.
9. MEDITATE.As boring and dull as it sounds, it focuses all your mind into one place and makes it think in one thought- making it easier to solve a problem. The mind is an extraordinary device. If used in the proper way you can go on to wield the world. Think- as it has been said is one of the best and logical devices.
'Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, quality of the imagination, a vigour of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.'This article was not about the solutions to teen problems but rather just ways to face the turbulence in the mind and insecurity in the hearts while you go through some sort of problem.Hope you guys found these 8 easy stress busters useful!Because teen age is the age to love, experience, enjoy and smile. Don't waste of over looking out for problematic solutions. These methods may be preferable and beneficial for you rather than doing drugs and illegal activities. Sometimes even better than getting suicidal thoughts. It’s better than going hyper! These methods were a harmless solution to your problems. Hope we helped. In the end:'Stay young, Stay free.'
