How to Draw a Tulip

I noticed that this painting was getting a lot of attention over at Pinterest, so I thought making a step-by-step diagram would be useful as well. This art was drawn with a pencil, traced with a permanent marker, and then had crayon lines added. I used liquid watercolors to paint inside the petals. Just let two colors run together and see what happens.
