My name is Linda Luke and on April Fool's Day 2012 I had a crazy idea. Why not start a blog and share some of the strategies I use to support my clients in creating successful businesses?
At first, it didn't make sense. I was a Life Coach who just happened to be attracting a lot of business clients and I already had a life coaching blog that kept me pretty busy. Why would I start something new?
But, something inside of me couldn't shake the idea and then the name Simple Smart Business popped into my head and I knew it was meant to be. I quickly set up the first incarnation of this website and published the inaugural post: Is April Fool's Day a Good Day to Launch a New Project?
Looking back it makes sense. I worked as a dental office manager for years and quickly developed my business building and marketing skills. I love to learn and had good instincts that helped me become known for helping make dental offices successful.
In 2003, I discovered and fell in love with Life Coaching and eventually made that my full time career. My love of learning and supporting others kept me busy as I went through several coaching certification programs and a Master's Program in Spiritual Psychology.
What surprised me though, was that a lot of my clients were dentists, business owners, and entrepreneurs. They appreciated my supportive nature and ability to provide help in a variety of ways, including business strategies and resolving personal challenges, fears, or blocks.
Today my coaching practice is almost equally divided between life and business coaching.
This website and blog is all about the magic of creating something new and re-energizing businesses and business owners who have been in the game for awhile. It is focused on helping you bring your gifts to the world.My intentions for this website are evolving. Over time, there will be online based classes, webinars, and in-person programs. New contributors will be invited to share their wisdom in special areas that will help you create a business that is both simple and smart. And, I will continue to be available for one to one coaching and strategy sessions for people who are interested and committed to their success.
Simple Smart Business is entering a new phase that is really exciting and you can be a part of it.
