Bathroom remodels can be a daunting challenge when you’re thinking about making a major design change to your home. Although it can seem pretty intimidating, it’s often not that bad. Not only will a bathroom remodel make your bathroom experience more enjoyable, it almost always increases the value of your home. But the costs might be a little steep, and it’s well documented that bathroom remodels don’t often pay off if you’re doing it just to invest and flip a home. So now you may be wondering, what does the cost look like if you’re planning on remodeling a bathroom in California? That’s why we’re here to help!
Why California? Because it’s where we live, and frankly, it’s the only state we could find really good, accurate data on! If you have sources on other states and would like to be included, leave a comment below with a link and we’ll gladly take a look at it.
How Much Does it Cost to Remodel a Bathroom in California?
We did some research on HomeAdvisor.com, and found the averages, typical ranges, low end, and high end costs for bathroom remodels. This data was gathered from about 16,000 actual project costs, so take the numbers with a grain of salt. We’re just hoping to give you a rough idea of what the cost would look like. If you’re looking for detailed pricing, it’s best to start getting some estimates from contractors in your area. Of course, prices will vary based on how intensive your remodel project will be. A master bathroom remodel will be more expensive than a simple, small bathroom remodel.
