Firstly I grabbed all my makeup brushes that needed washing.(I store my makeup brushes in an old glossybox.)
Then I mixed soap and warm water. The hand wash I used was radox clean and moist hand wash (here).
After that I placed my brushes in the soapy water and left them in it to soak for five minutes.
Once they had been left for five minutes I swirled them individually in fresh water.
For foundation ,concealer or any brushes I used for liquid products I placed a small drop of "lemon" washing up liquid on them. This is great because the lemon removes oil really well.
Then I used clean water to rinse the soap off all the brushes.
Finally I placed the brushes onto kitchen roll and left to dry.

This post makes me cringe. This is NOT how you wash brushes. First off, regular soap is way too harsh for the bristles, they sell brush cleaner for a reason. Secondly, you do not soak the brushes in water, soap, or brush cleaner. The soap will loosen the glue in the barrel and bristles will begin falling out. And lastly, do not let your brushes lay down while drying because the remaining water will soak into the barrel. Dry them upside down so that the excess water drains away.

Your brushes will never last, you can not soak brushes, it will loosen the glue in the metal barrel
