How Busy Parents Can Exercise at Home

Easy exercises you can do around the house!

If you're a parent, you know how busy life can get. Between work, kids, and chores, you feel like there's very little time for you to do anything for yourself, including exercising.

I often feel this way, especially if I would like to try to fit in a 20-30 minute workout when I can get it all done in one shot. When I try to do this, I am interrupted by the kids. Most of the time, I don't have any wiggle room in my schedule to do it at all!
I decided on a simple remedy to this. Instead of trying to fit in a single workout, I am going to exercise throughout the day as I move around the house!
To do this, I used sticker labels and wrote exercises on them. I placed these labels around the house in places I know I'd be walking by. Now, anytime I am in a room and I see one of these labels, I stop what I'm doing for a mere minute and do the exercise!

Exercises you can do around the home.

Since I move around the house all day long taking care of the kiddos and the housework, I'm exercising all day long. Every once in a while I'm going to move the labels around so that it changes things up a bit.

As added bonuses, my kids join in when they see me exercising, and I've even seen my hubby doing the exercises as he sees them. It's become a whole family effort!

TELL ME: Is this something you'd do around your house to help you exercise more? Leave a comment below and tell me what you think!
