House Envy: Sarah Sherman Samuel’s Cabin

One day, Mr C and I would love to have a little holiday home. It’s probably quite unlikely, but one lady who has managed to fulfill this dream is Sarah Sherman Samuel from Smitten Studio. All images: Sarah Sherman Samuel

I discovered Sarah’s blog last year and was really taken by her streamlined approach. It’s a real departure from my own style but I’d like to think my dream holiday home would have a similar aesthetic; plenty of white, lots of natural materials, dashes of gold and a very generous splash of bold pattern.

Sarah and her Husband have renovated their one bedroom cabin on Lake Michigan on a really modest $25K budget. I think my favorite element is the kitchen area.
