There are people who actually go about passing on old stories that they've never bothered to prove. I may have done that at a point, but these days I try to verify tales before I pass it on i.e, when my scatter-brain lets me. One such is this belief that taking mangoes and garri plus coke all at once would lead to certain death. I"m prove that that tale is false. Unless there's a medical explanation for why I still live after that I now believe that taking lots of mangoes and ijebu garri plus eba and chasing them with 50cl Coca-Cola doesn't kill. Mom's still miffed I disproved that tale. Well, I got tired of rolling my eyes at the tale.
