Hotel with transparent walls

transparent walls

Everyone wishes a hotel with a view, but an Icelandic entrepreneur has led his tourism business to a totally different level: he accommodates tourists in completely transparent, round and individual rooms. He did this to give customers the opportunity to admire the boreal aurora or just the starry sky from the comfort of the bed. A revolutionary idea for the field, which attracted public attention spectacularly, receiving countless praise from those who stayed there.

Five completely transparent spheres are the newest attraction in tourism. These unusual rooms accommodate tourists eager to see the boreal aurora without the Nordic cold. The five bubbles are located at a distance, each of them surrounded by a dense forest, so that the privacy of the tourists is assured. Also for this purpose, those staying there do not find the exact address until shortly before staying. Each room has everything needed for a bedroom, but the bathroom and the kitchen are common. Customers have to bring their food as well as sanitary items or towels.

The entire structure is inflated through a silent ventilation system that freshens the air in the room about five times per hour so that no moisture is created. The system is also equipped with a thermostat, so that the indoor temperature is always at a comfortable level no matter how cold it is out.

But interested visitors do not come just for boreal aurora, or to sleep under the stars. During the long Nordic summer days, they have the opportunity to sleep under … the sun in the middle of the night. During this period, the bubbles are surrounded by countless species of birds and butterflies, which compensates for the lack of stars.

Customers who are keen on such an adventure have to pay about 135 pounds a night. and it seems that there are many interested customers, because the owners have announced the intention to expand to keep up with the demand. At the same time, they have expanded their services by organizing walking tours through the most popular tour of Istalnde – the Golden Circle.
