Hot Tub Cinema hosted a preview screening of ‘Spring Breakers’ yesterday (Wednesday 3rd of April), the preview was held in a secret location off the Old Kent Road, a refurbished Firehouse with original features, often used for photography shoots and underground events.
Guests gained entry by knocking once on the door, and giving the password – ‘Spring Breakers’.
An immersive experiential event, the screening room was accompanied by a replication of an iconic scene from the film in an adjoining room, and pop up photography studio for guests next to the Front Desk. Bikini glad girls in balaclavas, plastic palm trees, and cut outs of James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens added to the atmosphere of the hyper real and neon drenched.
An intimate and exclusive event, the film itself was introduced by Writer and Director Harmony Korine who also provided a brief interview, footage of which, including Hot Tub Cinemas infamous after-party, will be available on the Social Media pages and Website within a few weeks.
