Game of Thrones Season Finale I assumed that if last weeks episode of Game of Thrones was as insane as it was, that the Season Finale would blow my mind...but it didn't. In a way, I'm kind of glad, I don't think I could have taken much more. It was bad enough that Ygritte shot Jon Snow three times, but she is a woman scorned, so I saw her point, luckily...he isn't dead, that would have really pissed me off. Lord Farris offered Shea a bunch of diamonds to leave Tyrion and Kings Landing so he could be a great leader, but she's in love and not going.  Tywin told his son to knock up Sansa asap and gave him this great speech about family loyalty, but when Tyrion went to his room to carry out the order, Sansa had found out that the Lannisters killed her Mom and bro and was in no mood for baby making. King Joffrey is just a twisted sick you know what. He wanted to serve Rob's head to Sansa at his wedding, but Tyrion stuck up to him and wouldn't allow it.  Man those Lannister's need some major family therapy don't they? Bran and his crew ran into Sam and Gilly. Somehow Sam knew that Bran was Jon Snow's brother. Sam said he'd do anything to help Bran but when Bran told him he needed to go North of The Wall, Sam basically said...anything BUT that and went back to The Wall where Jon Snow ended up by episodes end.  Arya killed some of her brother's killers and you have to admit that for a minute there, you did think that Ramsey was eating Theon's  weiner and not an Oscar Meyer one.  The real one was sent to his Dad's house which pissed off his sister so much that she got a boat and 50 guys and went off to get her bro back. Jamie and Brienne finally made it to Kings Landing and Cersei was reunited with her one armed brother/baby daddy again. Of course he doesn't know that she is set to marry the gay Sir Loris, but  I don't think either one of them will really care next season. Khaleesi ended the season freeing another community of their chains and them worshiping her and proclaiming her  'Mhysa" which means MOTHER.  The dragons flew, the people swarmed into a beautifully shot circle and the credits rolled.  I'm sure I missed something...Of course I'm bummed the season is over, but my brain could use a break from such complex content.  Bring on Big Brother!
Real Housewives of New Jersey
So in last night's episode of RHONJ, Teresa's last name was pronounced 3 different ways...Jewdice, JewDIchay and JewDEEchay, I wonder if Teresa and Joe even know what their own name is at this point? They have other things to deal with anyway. All of their daughters are awful, well maybe not Audriana but she either doesn't speak yet, or just can't get a word in edgewise with all her nutty sisters screaming 24/7.  Not sure if Caroline realized that we caught her in a lie, but we did.  Caroline told Lauren (who seems more miserable now that she's thin, than she did when she was fat) that Joe Gorga asked her to talk to Teresa for him, but she actually volunteered to do it and Joe didn't tell her not to. I gotta give props to Alfred, Caroline's husband. He really seems like a gem doesn't he? The kids finally leave and now Caroline's sister, Fran (ever hear of her before?)  and her animals move in? I'd freak out.  If Al's miserable, he didn't show it like his skinny starving daughter did.  Caroline's sit down with Teresa had all the makings for drama in a private room at the Ho-Ho-Kus Tavern,  but when it came down to it, the women were relatively calm. Teresa still took zero responsibility for anything but still was cool with making up with her bro. So who knows?  The Gorga's are trying to sell their house for 3.8 million bucks. Not sure who told them it would be a great idea to stay home for the open house, but they did.  Unfortunately, the people looking at the place found all the problems with the camera's rolling. Cracks in the ceiling, fake granite sink and weird keyhole windows in the master bedroom.  Joe doesn't really want to move, so he won't lower the price, in case you're interested.  Kathy & Richie were teaching Joseph to drive.  Kathy was  totally serious and Richie was a perverted freak during the entire thing. After the driving lesson, they headed to Caldwell College to see Victoria at school which is weird because she lives at home, so I didn't understand why they'd feel the need to go see her at school.  I'm guessing they cut a deal with the place?  I wouldn't put it past them. Jaqueline and Chris had everyone over. Everyone included Rosie, who's always fun to listen to. Now we know that she feels that any Lesbian who shows up with a strap on isn't for her. Not sure I needed to know that at all.  That's even TMI for me!  The show ended on a touching note when Nicholas, who has been diagnosed with Autism actually said "I Love You" to his Mom, Jaqueline. Anyone who has been touched by Autism knows this is a huge deal.
Nurse Jackie
We knew after last weeks episode of Nurse Jackie that things would be rough, but luckily it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sure Grace was doing drugs and yeah, all drugs are bad, but it turned out to be Adderall and not blow, so I sort of felt a tiny bit better. I know that's the wrong attitude, but it could have been wayyyy worse. Grace told Kevin they were Jackie's but Jackie's not into Adderall AND she drug tested them both to prove it.  Jackie kept Grace with her at the hospital in hopes of scaring the crap out of her. Don't think it worked since Grace gave her Mom the slip, hopped in a cab, and went right back to Danny's house. Danny couldn't have been too happy since Kevin had just threatened his life, but what's the guy gonna do if the girl just keeps showing up? Some other biggies...Jackie and Frank the Cop slept together and Frank told Jackie he loved her. Super awkward moment when she didn't say it back to him.  Even more awkward when he sent her a gift the next day that she had no time to open and only told him she loved him when he called and got pissed off that she hadn't opened it. Akalitus was learning about Spotify, Carrie was learning how to be a doctor and Zoey was learning how to wear Dr. Prentiss's very large bathrobe.  Gotta say, I'm loving Zoey more than anything and how much did I love when Carrie showed up all sexy and slutty and rubbed up against Prentiss? He THANKFULLY didn't take the bait and chose Zoey instead. Do you think that Carrie's face is Botox frozen or is that acting? I'm going with the B-Freeze.
NEWS & INFORMATION
-I'm late to the party on some shows sometimes...Scandal was one, but Orphan Black was another. I really thought that both of these shows weren't my thing when I read about them, but once I checked them out I was hooked. You all know about my Jamaican/Scandal vacation in April where I watched every episode of Scandal in 6 days, but now, it's Orphan Black. My friend and WWTM reader, Brett Blattman bet me that I couldn't just watch one episode without getting hooked. Of course, as always,  he was right. Unfortunately, I'm not in Jamaica on vacation and had to work on tons of homework with my son this weekend AND go to his doubleheader but I was still able to consume the first 8 out of 10 episodes of this insanely cool show. Is anyone out there other than Brett watching? If you are let me know, if you aren't...I'm officially telling you...WATCH IT! I don't want to tell you anything about it, but trust me, you'll love it!
-Last night was The Tony Awards. This is the only award show I don't watch. I'm not a big Broadway person. I can tell you that Kinky Boots won for Best Musical in case you're thinking of getting tickets for something over the Summer.
-So if I have it right, the only judge left on American Idol is Keith Urban.  Everyone else is out including the executive producers, Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick.  Poor Keith...he's so screwed.  I bet Simon is laughing his butt off big time. Well, X Factor has issues too. Just combine the two shows call it American Idol X and be done with it.  Or better yet...cancel both of them!
-As you guys know, it's upfront season and according to the press most of the big networks are done, but my team is still working hard, so I'm hoping that the networks are just playing things out in the press...whatever.
-I'm confused...isn't Access Hollywood already a show that airs at 7:30pm on NBC? Starting today,  E! is airing a show called Access Hollywood Live at 3pm. Is it the same show? Did I miss something?
Monday's Trivia Question: Okay so there are 2 themes this week. One's easy and one is so hard that it will be worth 25 points.  What is George Costanza's Dad's name?
