We homeschool our younger daughter, and I've been looking for ideas to revamp her study room. I found a ton of pictures and have gathered a few that are my homeschool study room inspirations. Each has something unique to offer, and they all have a similar theme. If you carefully notice none of these have beds, television or toys, instead you will find bookshelves, globes, maps, white and black boards, and stationary. And, none of them are a not part of the child's bedroom.
What I like about these homeschooling nooks are how well they are combined with the rest of the house but segregated enough for study time. The rooms are all bright enough and cheerful to stay focused. They are lively enough to keep the children awake. Best of all, the study materials and stationary are well organized, making it easy to finish homework without needlessly spending time on locating things. I understand, we might not be able to give a space like this for our children - but, this is something to consider whether you homeschool your kids or not. Even otherwise, there will always be an idea or two that you can take from here. Do come back to my blog to see what I have done to my daughter's study room.. For now, I hope to have inspired you today.
