Abby here… with a recipe I can’t wait for you to try!

Back in college I was introduced to the goodness of Nutella, and ate that stuff like it was going out of style.

But things are different for me now.  While I’m sure it still tastes great, I’m not to keen on buying things with ingredients like this:

Might seem pretty harmless, until you realize that the sugar is most likely from GMO sugar beets, the palm oil is conventionally processed, the skim milk is from hormone filled cows and so on.  Ohh, and I love how they say No Artificial Colors and No Artificial Preservatives… but slyly adding in Artificial Flavor at the end.

So what’s the alternative?  Well, I “pinned” this Raw Vegan Hazelnut spread a few months ago and finally gave it a try.  I made it in 5 minutes with the food processor using simple ingredients such as organic hazelnuts, coconut oil and raw coco to name a few.  The only additional thing you may need is a good pair headphones… pulsing those hazelnuts is loud!

I’ll leave credit where credit is due and let you check out the recipe HERE on Pinterest.

Jeanne was over and we made one batch first, just to make sure it was good.  We both approved and each ate our respective batches within 24 hours.

:)
