Homemade Fuller’s Earth Face Packs
Fuller’s earth also known as multani mitti is found in abundance in India. It has been used in face packs and as a cleansing agent for centuries in India. It is great for people with oily skin since it absorbs excess oil from the skin but that doesn’t mean dry skin types can not use it, I have dry skin and I use it in various ways that it removes dead dull layer from my skin and doesn’t make it dry. It can be used by all skin types provided you make right conconation out of it. Fuller’s earth is a skin purifier which means that it deep cleanses and purifies the skin drawing out all the impurities from skin. Here I’m listing down 10 homemade fuller’s earth face packs which you can make at the comfort of your home with easily available ingredients in your kitchen.Homemade Fuller's Earth Face Packs1. Fuller’s Earth and Yogurt Face Pack:

Combine 2 tsp of fuller’s earth powder, 4 tsp of sour yogurt and half tsp of rose water. Make a thick paste of all these ingredients and apply it on your face and neck. Rinse off when the pack gets dry. This pack makes skin soft and smooth so it is good to be used by dry skin.

2. Fuller’s Earth, Almond Oil and Lemon Juice Face Pack:

Make a paste of 2 tbsp of fuller’s earth, 1 tbsp almond oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric. Use this pack once or twice a week to get rid of pimples and frequent breakouts.

3. Fuller’s Earth Face Pack for Pigmentation:

To make a pack of fuller’s earth for pigmentation- mix 2 tbsp of fuller’s earth powder and egg white of one egg. This pack helps to get rid of pigmentation and lighten dark areas.

4. Fuller’s Earth and Sandalwood Powder Face Pack:

The most popular face pack is this fuller’s earth and sandalwood face pack. Combine equal amounts of fuller’s earth and sandalwood powder and make a paste of it by adding rose water and few drops of lemon juice. I usually use this pack as a cleanser in the morning and it leaves my skin clean, fresh and bright.

5. Fuller’s Earth and Cucumber Juice Face Pack

A great refreshing summer pack that helps get rid of tan and pigmentation. Mix 1 tbsp of fuller’s earth and cucumber juice, you can also add lemon juice to make a more powerful anti-tan pack. Rinse it off after the pack dries!

6. Fuller’s Earth, Milk Cream, Gram Flour and Honey Face Pack

Combine 2 tsp of fuller’s earth, 1 tsp of milk cream, 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of gram flour and 1 tsp of almond oil and make a thick paste, apply on face and neck for 20 minutes. This pack is good for all skin types. This pack makes skin glowing and bright, use it twice a week.

7. Fuller’s Earth Face Pack for Sun Burn:

Combine equal amounts of cucumber juice and tomato juice and pour it on 1-2 tsp of fuller’s earth powder. This face pack is great for soothing sun burned skin, clears sun tan and gives a glowing skin.

8. Fuller’s Earth Face Pack for Tanned Skin:

Mix fuller’s earth with coconut water and a pinch of sugar. Apply this pack on all tanned areas and keep it for 20 minutes. If this pack is used regularly thrice  a week, it will remove all the tanning and will give clear, glowing skin.

9. Fuller’s Earth Face Pack for Radiant Skin:

Mix fuller’s earth with 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp tomato juice, 1 tsp lemon juice and a bit of raw milk, you can even use milk powder if raw milk is not available. Keep this pack for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off. You can use it for instant radiant and bright skin before going to an event. Using it more often will give great results.

10. Fuller’s Earth, Honey and Papaya Face Pack:

Mash two cubes of papaya and make a pulp of it, mix 1 tsp of fuller’s earth in it, add 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp rose water to this mixture. Mix all the ingredients together, you can even blend this mixture to get a nice consistency. Apply it on face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes. This pack gives glowing, clear skin. You can always customize your face packs and add or subtract any ingredient as per your convenience, the results would be the same but don’t just subtract the main ingredient


Note: Tbsp refers to tablespoon and tsp refers to teaspoon.
