As we bid adieu to 2014 and before we start our journey with the new year 2015, I thought of doing a roundup of the hit new launches this year. Many brands came up with some amazing products, the first name being the Maybelline which hit the market with its amazing launches. There are lots more other brands that came up with hit launches this year and you will know more about them in this post so keep reading if you want to know of all hit new launches of 2014. 1. Maybelline Electro Pop Baby Lips:The latest and most exciting launch in the beauty industry- electro pop baby lips. Who didn't get excited when these cute looking baby lips were launched in India? I don't think there would be anyone who didn't get excited hearing the launch of these baby lips. I picked up 3 of these baby lips and will make a visit soon to the supermarket to pick the left one to complete my collection of all of these 4 baby lips and then I'd do the post on them- something quite interesting maybe!

2. Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Polish:Glitter nail polish at just Rs. 125, aahh sounds awesome!
The range has 8 glittery shades with all the shades on the jazzy, bright & sparkly side. The range doesn't have peach, pink and orange but what it has, it's amazing! This range is available in 8 shades with quite unique names which makes this range more fun and exciting- Dazzling Diva, All That Glitters, Pink Champagne, Red Carpet, Bling On The Blue, Paparazzi Purple, Matinee Mauve, Starry Night. Price: Rs. 125 for 6ml.
3. Maybelline Color Show Lipsticks:This range launched 27 beautiful shades with hue to more bright pink, red and orange shades. Some of the shades are quite similar to each other which is a bit disappointing. The pigmentation of these lipsticks is just amazing and so is the staying power, stays on for 3-4 hours. The lipsticks have a creamy texture and are very moisturizing so those with dry and chapped lips, will love this range in winters! Price: Rs. 299 for 3.9 g
4. Maybelline Pink Alert Lipsticks:Maybelline has launched quite a lot products this year and 2 new lipsticks range with the first lipstick launch being the pink alert which has 4 shades with very interesting names POW 1, POW 2, POW 3 and POW 4. The range has 4 different hues of pink shades- POW 1 a bubblegum pink, POW 2 a bright neon pink, POW 3 a soft barbie pink, POW 4 a bright coral pink. The lipsticks have a creamy texture, are very well pigmented and stays for upto 4-5 hours. If you are a pink lipstick lover, you'll get some beautiful pinks in this range. Price: Rs. 375
5. Revlon Parfumerie Nail Enamel:When these cute shaped bottles of nail enamel with fragrance ranging from fresh and fruity to woody and floral were launched in India this year, the girls had gone gaga over it and I was seeing every other beauty blogger hoarding these nail polish. That excited me to pick few shades from the range and I picked up 3 shades which were missing in my nail polish collection. You can check them Here. The range has launched total of 15 shades which they claim to have been infused with essential oils and fragrances that are reminiscent of your daily perfume. The range is not divided based on shades but is divided based on the scent! The nail polish has a thick and creamy texture and the finish is mostly glossy and the scent lasts for good 7-8 hours. 6. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm:This range has launched 8 shades- Elusive, Sultry, Shameless, Unapologetic, Mischievous, Audacious, Striking & Standout. The shades are very unique and have shades ranging from purple to bright pink to pastel orange to bright red. The texture is creamy and not fully matte but still quite convincing for matte as well as creamy lipstick lovers. The pigmentation is superb, and the staying power is around 4-5 hours. Price: Rs. 800
7. Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator:Another hit launch from Revlon this year in India! It's the famous Skinlights Face Illuminator which the beauty world swear by. If you love shimmery, illuminating base then you ought to check out this product. With the total of 4 shades available in this range across UK and US, India has launched 3 shades (not bad actually)- Pink Light which would suit pale skin complexion, Bare Light which would suit fair to medium skin tones & Peach Light would suit medium to dusky complexioned women (mostly most Indian women). Price: Rs. 850 for 30 ml
8. L'oreal Paris Nude Magic Foundation:Available in 6 different shades, this foundation caters to mostly most Indian skin complexions with shades ranging from nude beige (the lightest) to classic tan (the darkest) keeping in mind all Indian skin tones though it would have been much pleasing if it were launched in few more shades. The coverage is light to medium and feels almost like second skin, this liquid powder foundation is more suitable for oily-combination skin and not for dry skin as it tends to set in fine lines and sticks to dry patches of skin. If you still want to try it out (if you are mad like me and don't want to leave a product even after hearing it's not for your skin type) you can do away with it by heavily moisturizing your skin. What more- it has an SPF 15!! Price: Rs. 899 for 27 ml
9. L'oreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge Lipsticks:The latest launch from L'oreal is available in total 15 shades with shades ranging from neutrals to vibrant. The lipsticks has a creamy and smooth texture and are well pigmented. The staying power is around 5-6 hours! Price: 999
10. Bourjois Shine Edition Lipsticks:Bourjois also made its name in the new launch list this year and the hit launch from Bourjois this year is their shine edition lipsticks which were launched in 8 shades. These lipsticks are well pigmented in just 2 swipes and has a buttery smooth texture, glides on super easily and last for about 4 hours. The one thing about these lipsticks that catches the eyes is their classy glass packaging which shines bright like a diamond
