The Province of Nova Scotia now offers online access to a variety of maps and survey plans from historic map collections held at the Nova Scotia Archives. Digital versions of the various historical maps and plans have been separated by century starting with the 1700s, (also 1800s and 1900s) with search functionality providing for finding maps of certain regions. Each image is served with a flash viewer providing the ability to host high res scans with the ability to zoom in to view details, pan, share images with others, print images and you can also save copies.

They state that the Historical Maps of Nova Scotia online resource that will continue to grow over time as more maps and charts are scanned from the archives, so it will be interesting to see what other great content will be made available on the site in the future.
