Every summer has to have it’s anthem. You know, that song that comes on and gets you rocking every-time you hear it. It’s the type of song that has a magical quality that makes it cross genres. For example there’s no denying that one of last summer’s key anthems was “Roar” by Katy Perry, it’s the kind of song that gets you pumped up and motivated. Previous years had songs by groups like LMFAO, Carly Rae Jepson (we know you are singing the chorus to “Call Me Maybe” in your head right now).

Just shy of two weeks ago Tim Hicks gave us a taste of his newest single, “Here Comes the Thunder“. That taste was enough to tell us that this was going to be a big song, after-all this is the same artist who is known for anthems like “Got A Feeling” and “Stronger Beer”. At midnight the thunder rolled and the lightning struck and “Here Comes the Thunder” arrived. After listening to the track on replay for a good hour we can safely say that not only is “Here Comes the Thunder” the latest song stuck in our head it’s also our summer anthem for 2014 so go download it now and be sure to request it at your local country radio station!
