Herbatint the Most Natural Alternative Hair Color

By A Beauty Feature @abeautyfeature

Cosmoprof Asia 2017 was held recently here in Hong Kong. One exhibitor from Italy – Herbatint who has successfully been promoting and distributing their natural permanent hair color around the world. Since 1970 Herbatint has no ammonia, resorcinol, parabens, alcohol, fragrances, and has been tested on sensitive skin. Enriched with 8 organic herbal extracts, easy to mix and apply.

Herbatint mixes smoothly to a gel-like consistency. There is little to no smell as you would find in commercial dyes, as well as no harsh chemicals.

As with all hair color the intensity is deep for the first 1-2 weeks. Then after showering it eventually fades slightly, but not enough to become a dull shade.

Herbatint uses PPD in very low dose. This is the reason that Herbatint covers gray so well. You can use Herbatint every few months to touch up roots at home. Then take your color to the hairdresser so they can also apply the color to ensure you have full coverage.

For home use you do not have to use the entire product. This is a perfect way not to waste any product. One third can be used for short hair, then reseal for the next use. For medium length hair you can adjust accordingly. Great product, safer than most commercial dyes, pleasant smell, works in 40 minutes, easy application, with no mess.

Founded in Rome in the 60’s by Michele Albergo, an expert on the beneficial properties of plants, Antica Erboristeria is a company specialized in ammonia-free hair color currently operating in over 40 countries.

Beniot Doithier CEO and Serena Stoppoloni Sales & Marketing Manager were both at Cosmoprof Asia, to highlight Herbatint as a Certified B Corporation®.  A new type of corporation which uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. Using business as a force for good, Antica’s practices become concrete actions to improve the quality of life of everybody.

Antica Erboristeria has improved its environmental impact with the use of polyethylene for the new bottles created during the recent packaging redesign. The use of polyethylene and its consequent weight diminution for the bottles, has allowed a reduction of the carbon footprint (GWP), energy (GER) as well as water (H2O).

Conai, the Italian Consortium for packaging, has just rewarded Antica Erboristeria as one of the winners of its project called “Pensare Futuro”, that promotes packaging with low environmental impact.
