I have been craving a new magazine for the Cincinnati set for a while, so I was very pleased to attend the launch of the new lifestyle magazine, Her Cincinnati. As I walked in to High Street, an absolutely gorgeous fashion and décor shop, I was approached by a woman on skates wanting to show me upstairs. I knew right then and there that I was going to like this magazine. And like it I did. Flipping through the pages as I took in the scenery of Cincinnati's fashion elite, I was mesmerized by the artistic cover and the sweet, country-esque fashion shoot. The writing was simple: simply good. Not like any other fashion and lifestyle magazine I had read in a while, it's like talking to a friend on a relaxed summer night. And the event was the perfect setting for this funky magazine. The space was dark with pops of bright color and the heat made the strawberry shaved ice taste amazing! And to top it all off, one of my favorite movies, Marie Antoinette, was playing in the background. I'm looking forward to next month's issue to see what this new magazine has in store, but I already know that I will be adding it to my monthly must-reads...
