Let me introduce you to a little thing I like to call hell...or pre-finals week (imagine a creepy organ going dun dun dunnnnnn in the background right now.) This is the week in FACS (family and consumer sciences...the fashion program) at Liberty that ALL of the professors decide that just about every single project on the syllabus is due. And boy are there a lot of them. The picture above is my formal wear project. I am IN LOVE with my design...but my board could probably use a little more attention...which it probably won't get to be totally honest. The problem with pre-finals week is that there are so many projects, so each project doesn't get the special attention it deserves. I would have loved to create an actual miniature mock up dress for this project, but the other ten projects due tomorrow are preventing just that (and this, this I had done so it wasn't procrastinating for those of you out there thinking that.)
Don't get me wrong...I love this kind of stuff...but a little more spaced out. After all, I do have things outside of school that require attention too!
