After romancing for 4 years now, it’s finally happened for Miami Heat NBA star Dwyane Wade and his lady love actress Gabrielle Union as they got engaged Saturday night. The basketball star proposed to his longtime girlfriend, just before the two times defending NBA champions were gathering for a team Christmas party and the actress accepted instantly. There was apparently a recent hint about the engagement before it was announced as the couple had sent out Christmas cards together reading from “Wade-Union Family”. They announced this happy news through social media sites as Gaby took to Instagram and posted her happy news saying “Sooooo this happened…..#yessss@dwyanewade,” and also put a picture of her giant sparkler, which is a custom 8.5 carat cushion cut engagement ring. Dwyane also posted the same picture on his twitter and Instagram account saying “She said yes!!!”. This will be the second marriage for both Union 41, and Wade 32 and as the couple did not release any formal statements about the engagement, hence no dates has been announced for marriage yet.
