As the new year fast approaches, it’s usually that time that of year that everyone decides it’s time for some sort of change…it’s a new year–new start. True…it is a new year, but why does that have to be the glorified starting point for everyone to make changes. Every morning is the start to a new day, regardless if it’s the first day of the year, month, week, etc. You don’t have to wait until the new year to start on that new goal or resolution that you have in the back of your mind…just start! And if whatever goal you set for yourself, isn’t accomplished by said point….you don’t have to wait to jump back on the bandwagon…just get back on track right away!
As I was out today at the gym & the grocery store…people seemed so happy today & was greeted several times with “Happy New Year”! Why can’t everyone be this pleasant all of the time! It would make everyone a lot happier to be greeted with a friendly smile and a simple, “Hello” on a daily basis.
For those of you out there that like to bring in the new year with a bang and party it up! Please, please, please…make sure your have a designated driver! If you need a lift, AAA has a great program every year for members and non-members alike called Tow to Go service. They won’t take you bar to bar, but they will take you straight home, so make sure to take advantage if offered in your area. You’ll just need to call 855–2TOW-2-GO.
