Happy New Year!

By Bertyc @bertyc
Bit late to this 'year in review' business but hey, Happy New Year! I've been busy having fun and crafting up a storm, which I want to share on here but right now I need to show you some blogposts from 2012. It's bloggers' law. No one knows why, but every blogger in the land must do one of these posts while simultaneously thought-bubbling themselves into the role of features writer for a popular broadsheet newspaper.
So here it is, have a look at 12 of my photos or posts from last year that I enjoyed, I hope you do too:
January
I went to see Grayson Perry's exhibition at the British Museum. And loved it.
February
I began a bedspread sized quilt. Have a look at some of the fabric I used.
Also, I'm still making it! Here's a photo from this weekend (yes, I'm talking about 2013). I hope to complete it this year:
Happy New Year!
March
I think March was a slow month for me. We all have them, let's not make a big deal out of it.
April
A tutorial for an easy washi tape greeting card.
Happy New Year!
May
I redesigned my blog. And enlisted my boyfriend for his illustration skills. These may be required again soon. News to David, I'm sure. Exciting for the rest of us (read: me) definitely.
June
I went to a tapas bar in Shrewsbury and decided to review it. Or "maybe I'll be a FOOD blogger too!"
July
Lovely Kimberlee, of Homemade Mama fame, guest posted for me.  Is 'guest posted' a legitimate past tense verb? Can 'guest post' be a verb? Who knows, go and read her lovely contribution.
August
A recipe for my favorite ever biscuits in the whole world: Tortas de Aciete. (Making up for March's bad form).

Happy New Year!
Go and make them, now.

September
We visited the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden in St Ives (an annual ritual).
It's beautiful, incredibly inspirational and if you get a chance to, I highly recommend you make a trip there.
Happy New Year!
October
More photos from Cornwall, this time the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Or "another fantastic excuse to share photos of flowers and plants".
Happy New Year!
You're welcome!
November
You know that John Lewis Christmas? With the snowman who went for a dangerous walk near the motorway? It annoyed me, so I wrote about it, and how you should make something for your loved ones at Christmas.

December
CAKE! I made a rainbow cake and went to a cake club. It was lovely.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I'm already looking forward to making more things, taking more photos and perhaps writing the odd post about non crafty things.
