One of my favourite places in the world is the Christchurch botanical gardens. It is a special place. I think I love the beautiful distractions. I tend to get stuck in my head. But when I stumble upon a walkway lined with hydrangeas, my breath catches for a moment. The blue and purple bursts of magnificence force me out of the confines of my mind and into the current moment.
So I decided to bring them home with me on film. Enjoy.
