Happy Holi Everyone! :)

Hi Everyone, Happy Holi Smile

Happy Holi Everyone
I thought of wishing you all today itself as I know you all will be busy celebrating holi tomorrow so no one would take my wishes then
Kiss
As for now, I don’t have any plans for how we will celebrate holi but we’ll go on the terrace and celebrate there, only me, my younger brother and sister and we keep throwing water on everyone who comes by *evil face* with all the colors (harsh colors) in it.

Now what do I do for protecting my skin and hair, I come in my shorts on holi and a top of course

and I apply a sunblock lotion all over my exposed parts and then I apply coconut oil so if anyone puts color on me, it doesn’t get there permanent and comes off easily with the oil on my skin. I oily my hair with coconut oil but tomorrow I’ll be oiling with some other oil which I’m currently using and will be up with a review on it soon. Now coming to my face, I wash my face in the morning as usual, apply a thick high SPF sunscreen as I have to be in the sun for 2-3 hours and after massaging the sunscreen, I apply some olive oil on my face after 5-10 minutes. This way, I know I’ll be protected from those harsh colors if anyone does the mistake of putting on me, vaise to kisi ki himmat nahi jo mujhe color laga de
Wink
not even any of my family members, I become a horror movie’s main role heroine like the villain types if anyone does so, so everyone usually stay away from me as they all know how much I love my skin and can’t tolerate anything harsh on it

If you get color on your skin even after trying hard not to get it, I suggest you to massage coconut or olive oil on those areas very gently and not rubbing it harsh, wipe it off with a cotton ball and do this 2-3 times until you see the color coming off your skin, after that make a mixture of gram flour (besan), lemon juice and curd, massage this mixture in circular motion and leave it for 15 minutes, after that rinse it off with warm water (make sure the water is warm), pat dry your face and then rub a lemon juice cover on those areas, this should get half the color off. After rinsing your face, moisturize it using a moisturizer or use olive oil for heavy moisturization as skin becomes quite dry and dehydrated due to all the harsh colors.

As for the dishes, mom will be making so many oily things tomorrow but guess tomorrow I’ll indulge in some oily things as I won’t get any healthy food tomorrow so it’s better to indulge then to stay hungry but mine would be separately fried in olive oil

Grin
I’ll have palak ki pakori (demanded my mom to make for me specially as I love them) and dahi bhalle tomorrow.

So what are your plans? Have a safe and happy holi everyone! Enjoy it to the fullest but please keep your skin and hair protected as colors can be really dangerous!!
