Happy Christmas

What I've seen
Invasion of the Bodysnatchers (1978) - Remake/sequel superior to the original. Haunting ending, even though Sutherland looks like Blakey in Invasion On The Buses.
Elfie Hopkins (2012) - Cannibal family of suspiciously young mom and dad versus suspiciously old teenage detective (Jaime Winstone whose dad Ray makes a cameo) and Aneurin "Teenage girl Who fan's choice of Doctor" Barnard as her geeky Welsh friend. Like Buffy but in Wales, and produced by the awful Jonathan Sothcott.
Deranged (1974) - AIP chiller produced by Bob "Porkys/Murder by Decree/Black Christmas/Christmas Story" Clark with Roberts Blossom as Ezra Cobb/Ed Gein. Creepy but not a comfort movie. Early f/x by Tom Savini.
Happy Christmas. My favorite Christmas movie is 1972's Tales from the Crypt - Joan Collins, Peter Cushing, Sir Ralph Richardson, Ian Hendry, Nigel Patrick, Patrick Magee, Richard "gave my4-year-old dad a dog"Greene embalmed alive-ish, immortality, killer santas, zombie grandads, blind man's bluff gone wrong, immortality in this tatty-yet-misty bit of 70s EC Comics, heavily Anglicised (rather than Americanised)  fun.
