Happy Birthday BTCE

I'm happy to say that as of today I have been blogging for a year and I thought what better way to celebrate than drool over pictures of yummy birthday cake and throw an imaginary birthday party. You better believe that I've pulled out all the stops with a scrummy sponge cake covered in icing, a room full of balloons and plenty of party tunes playing in the background!Image sourceWhile I did make a bit of a rubbish start on Blogger a few months beforehand, Behind These Closed Eyes fully came to life on the 24th of August '11 with my first post being a NOTD (surprise surprise) which can be found here. Over the past year I am so happy to have come across so many lovely bloggers who are an absolute joy to talk to, and this could only result in one thing.. adding to my beauty addiction oops! Along the way I have learned so many new things, fallen in love with numerous new brands and found a huge passion for blogging that I hope to keep up for many years to come. Of course follower counts aren't the be all and end all of blogging but I'm so proud to have hit 700 lovely readers, and for that I just want to say thank you so very much for taking the time to follow me along this journey and for all of your kind comments which make blogging such a worthwhile experience. Here's to many more years of blogging!♥
