Happy 1st Birthday to our beautiful little angel! 12 months ago, you decided it was your time to enter the world, waking me up at 6am with a contraction then not letting me get back to sleep..hmmm! :) I remember the day like it was yesterday, the first time I held you, the first scream you let out even before you were completely born..you certainly didn't like being out of mummy's tummy! Your tiny fingers and hands, those beautiful little feet and that dark dark hair you had, you were a mini version of Daddy, I even questioned if you were actually mine as you had none of my features! Ha. The greatest day of my life that was, the anticipation of what you were going to look like, you were the most beautiful little girl I had ever seen.
Oh how quickly time goes, one minute you're sound asleep on my chest for 4 hours straight, the next I'm chasing you round the room trying to stick the other side of your nappy on properly..the past year has been amazing, stressful, happy, hard, emotional, funny, exciting and just full of so many wonderful memories already! No longer are you my tiny baby, but growing into such such a beautiful little girl, full of cheekiness and love!
We know the next year has lots of amazing things in store for you and us, you'll be walking, talking more (god help us!) :), we've even planned your second birthday too! But well keep that a secret! :)
We had such a lovely day, you were perfectly behaved, smiling the whole time and taking everything in, you were spoilt rotten, lots of cards, clothes, toys, balloons, birthday cake & lots of cuddles :). You were knackered by the end, it's tiring being 1 eh! :)We still can't believe you're 1, you make us so proud every single day, we couldn't ask for a better little girl (although if you want to sleep through again, that would be nice..:P) Lots of loveMummy & Daddy(and everyone else who loves you)xxxxxxx
