Fashion on television has evolved itself . Unlike few years ago, when fashion on TV just meant "Fashion TV" and nothing more than that, today many new lifestyle channels have also joined the lead. So here are my favorite four must watch style shows and on a day off, my schedule usually revolves around these..
1. Style and The City

On Fox Traveller

 Other than rhyming with the movie title "Sex and The City", there's lot more that adds to the glamour of the show. No wonder, it tops my list. With three eminent designers Rocky S, Ashish Soni and Rina Dhaka, along with the witty host Shibani Dandekar, the half hour fashion ride is enthralling. With a renowned celebrity as ac client and an Indian city as an inspiration the designer creates an outfit that one couldn't even think of. This show is an eclectic mix of fashion, travelling, culture and of course shopping in kitschy markets.
2. I am too Sexy for my Shoes Series

On NDTV Good Times

This show has gone through 3 transformations, the recent one being "Get The Look" where fashion stylist Mohan Neelakanthan styles a contestant.Still my favorite was Season 1 which is still aired everyday. With an over sized trunk, host Ambika Anand explores the unconventional in the Indian and International cities.
3. Hot Couture

On NDTV Good Times

Does the show title ring a bell.? Well, it showcases selected Lakme and Wills Fashion weeks 2012 and 2013 in case you missed them. For a fashion connoisseur, this show is a must watch.
4. Band Baaja Bride

Wedding have always been the biggest showcasing of fashion and style and this show proves as a blessing in disguise for a bride-to-be. All the pampering, makeovers and the designer wedding dress is as much exciting to watch as it is for the contestant. The latest season with Sabyasachi is ......, well you can think of it.!
Apart from these, there were many of my favorites but they are no longer being telecast-ed and they are dearly missed- Designer Diaries, What not To Wear India, Couture Runway, Style check (how can one forget this one), Let's Design, Project Runway( Don't know if its still being aired). Hope they are back soon someday!!
